•• the gray female pushed her body along the plains - she was new to the area, she right now she was just exploring around. looking for things to do and staying away from the ones she hated. the lighter females that walked the place. damn she did not understand their attitude towards life - how they could always been happy and always running around like they're on drugs. dude, she just could not stand that. they disgusted her and their ways. she liked being the way she was. a bitch topped off with a little bit of whoreish nature. that is maya ladies and gentlemen. like it or fuck off. what of life and personality that maya has. though she can not change it, her past is what brought this on her. everything she does now, was down to her being taught like this. even if she was lighter than this when she was a pup. just one male changed her life forever. but we don't need to talk about that and she never shares that part of her life, so that is all you're going to get out of her. for now. unless she really liked you. then you might get to know.
•• now she padded her paws on the ground of the plains that she walked on. the blades of grass she pushed her paws through it tickled her legs as she did so. her harks twitched hearing the sound of the river that was near by as she carried on walking forward. her golden opticals spied on her surroundings. the colors as they changed. maya could feel as she was walking - she was getting closer to the river. seeing as the noise of it was getting louder by the second. the rush of water as it flew under the golden bright sun. yuck. she hated the light scenes, but she was just passing through. as she walked, a few drops of rain splashed on her nose; it was nothing major. not at the moment. her large gray paws pressed down on the ground she walked on. her large gray wolf body came to a stop as she saw the flowing river, spying a tree right close, she moved herself. coming to sit by it. just one odd tree beside the river. maya sat her ass on the ground next to the tree, tucking her hind paws underneath her. and closing her for ones around to her chest. looking out and about for anyone who dare go close. listening to the sounds around her.
ooc - sorry, short starting post. i hate starting x3 once you guys come in, they will go so much better. haha.

>>artemis' ivory body walked slowly along the Echoing plains. Her twin harks were pricked upright now, acoustics cupping ant faint noise that had come to them. her amber orbs were locked a head of her, watching the breeze toy with the long strands of wheat and grass. her shoulder had already begun healing, the blood cleaned off by a quick dip in the stream. her paws left perfect impressions behind, blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step. however her left shoulder still hurt like shit and she cringed every once and a while. her lower jaw had dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom canines as she panted slightly.
>>artemis was hoping that she'd meet another female for once, that wasn't going to challenge her in any shape or form. just to have some best friends that are females would be just the ticket. she cound rant and rave all she wanted with their support. she'd already met Matchstick, and he seemed very kind. a faint smile formed on her facade as she walked, the pain not too prominent now in her shoulder. above, the ash grey sky loomed but there was a bit of sunlight that was now trying to peek out from behind the clouds. seeing the sunlight made her feel somewhat more cheerful, but not by much. as she got closer to a particualar area, she scented another fae. slowly pasdding forward, she spied the grey female. artemis felt her body relax a bit.
>>artemis approached the fae and slowly planted her rump down on the ground, a faint smile/smirk forming on her facade. she began speaking to her.
"Hello. I'm Artemis. What's your name?" she asked in a smooth tone as she waited for the fae to speak. it didn't matter much if this fae was dark, for artemis herself was more dark than anything but basically she was between good and evil. her ears popped up and she patiently sat.

r o s a r y i took their smiles and i made them mine Rosary felt as if one of her nightmares were coming to life, right before her open, not asleep eyes. As she walked along these plains, plains in which she did not know the name of, because simply, she didn't care. She knew they were plains, flat, filled with long, undulating grasses, as gold as the setting sun in hue. There was a slight breeze in the air, the sun hanging brightly in the sky, birds and various insects twittering away, as if nothing were happening. Nothing WAS happening to THEM, though. Rosary, on the other hand, was dealing with her torturous apparitions with every silent footfall.
Her mother, the poor dear, flashed before her in the waving grasses, making her stop dead in her tracks. Her mother actually looked...dead, whereas when she spotted her father or Vlakk in these disturbing flashbacks of her past, they looked completely and horribly real. Mother looked so lifeless, so gray, every single pigment in her body literally bleeding upon the ground. The pool of her blood, the black of her pelt, the indigo of her feathers all ran together in a tiny puddle before her hunched, frail corpse like body. Rosary could do nothing but stare at her dead mother, her pale red eyes wide, a few of her black and crimson feathers breaking off from her back and fluttering into the wind.
"M-mother?" Rosary whispered, feeling the golden world of the plains shift around her as her ghost of a mother stepped forward. Rosary looked into her lifeless, milky eyes, searching for any former trace of the only wolf that treated her with such immeasurable kindness.
"Dear child," said her mother cryptically, her voice soft and ethereal. Rosary took a few step forward, her whole body tensed, muscles coiled, ears upon her skull.
"What have they done to you?" Her mother's eyes widened in horror at her daughter's marred face, only a few remnants of her former beauty remaining. Rosary's eyes dropped to the dirt, a feeling of terrible shame washing over her.
"Oh, my dear. Lift your eyes."
At her mother's request, Rosary lifted them very slowly, as if they were extremely heavy. She whimpered at her dead mother, trembling very softly.
"You are still beautiful, dear Rosary. Still very beautiful."
Rosary's eyes darkened at this, a low growl forming in her throat. If she were any other wolf, without her manners and decorum, she would have snapped at the apparition, but this was her dear mother, and she had to remember to keep her temper.
"B-but mother," She murmured very softly, struggling to keep her sanity. "I am not beautiful anymore, no one wants anything to do with me. I'm cursed..." Rosary watched her mother very carefully as she said these words. The spirit's head merely tilted to the side, a very confused look on her fading face. "They made me like this mother, Vlakk and father. I am ugly! Mad! Others are right to keep away from them, for I am like a plague. I might infect them all!" Rosary's voice was louder now, shaking in tone. Her eyes blazed with hatred and she stepped toward her mother, the growl back in her words.
Her mother's face fell and her form began to fade away. Rosary half expected her to rebuke her outburst, as it was completely inappropriate, but she did not. She merely shook her head sadly and sighed. "No, Rosary, child. Your father was a wicked soul, he murdered me in cold blood, as you recall. You must not let him control your mind."
"But I CAN'T! I cannot do that, mother! He haunts me each and every day, I cannot escape him! He consumes me, he controls me like he did when he was alive, and I must submit! If I do not, he will torture me in my sleep, mother." Rosary's legs began to shake, the bloody looking red spatterings on her legs becoming coated in dirt.
The spirit of her mother merely shuddered, then a brisk wind blew and the apparition completely blew away. Rosary watched as her mother's body flitted away, along with the pool of her blood and pigments. Rosary let out a small howl of anger, pain, sadness. "M-mother! Come back! NO!"
The meadow now longer rocked under her paws, it was perfectly flat and still, the grass swaying in the wind, the sun shining on her back. She suddenly felt very sick, confused. She was merely a hallucination, of course. They've been getting worse over the past few days. The scarred she wolf plopped her rump down on a little patch of moss, eyes flitting to the roaring river that she just now had noticed. She was many lengths away from it, yet the noise was so overpowering, the water so swift and deadly. She rose to her paws and slowly approached the raging river, too distracted to even notice the presence of the other wolves in the area. As she stepped towards the banks, the river roared like one thousand streams as she crouched down to lap up the cool liquid.
Her eyes flickered to yet another feather that escaped her back, black and tinged with crimson, matching her pelt. This made her frown and glance down the river, her eyes just catching the form of another across the way. A tingle danced down her spine, the darkness pumping through her veins, her eyes narrowing. They certain wolf needed to stay far, far away from her, for Rosary feared that it would consume her completely.
ooc: part of this is rosary seeing her mother in the plains. yes, she's that strange. this is all part of me revealing her history, bit by bit.

Golden and brown hued eyes darted this way and that, soaking up the surroundings as they changed. These lands had been home to the brute for many months now, and still he was unsure if he wished to stay forever. It seemed to him much like a half-way point; somewhere to stop and rest on his journey to bigger and better things. But he had burnt many bridges and lost the trust of loved ones along the way. There was little to go back to, and any future outside the area was simply not grand enough to pull him away. The ones he had called family before dared not to utter his name, for the very whisper of it was considered a curse. Ah yes, Aok was notorious for damning all those who loved him. Get close to the fire and you will be burned..
Nimble paws carried his small but muscular frame throughout the plains; the unfamiliar scent of strange wolves urged him onwards like the beckoning of a queen bee to it's minions. His mind refused to believe he was most likely to be a mere minion to an Alpha of these lands.. Surely he was a bit more valuable than that? After all, a pack was only as strong as it's weakest link, and he had no weak link to speak of. Not yet at least.. Breath escaped his nostrils fast and hard as he picked up the pace, getting closer and closer to the strangers.
But there was another fell stranger nearby, though it was one that the brute cared not to encounter. The winged-ones were a plague upon the lands, in his opinion, and he could never be held accountable for the things he did and the words he said when in the presence of one. Aok snorted, sending the foul stench from his nostrils. Muzzle lifted to test the light breeze once more, ignoring the unwanted one to adopt the other two as he continued on.
Aok listened closely, with pricked ears, as the feminine voices fell upon them. The brute watched them for a bit longer from a bit of a distance before slowly making his way towards them. The scent of Alpha hung heavily in the air, but the multi-hued male knew far too well that he was treading on neutral grounds. When there was no respect to be given he surely would not be passing it around for free. And so with head held comfortably and tail hanging loose, he made his way over to the pair, stopping a safe distance away.
Deep voice escaped from his part maw, seemingly to deep and gravely to possibly belong to such a small and lithe frame. Pardon my intrusion..I caught scent of you both and thought company may suit me well right now..
A smile made it's way to his face, giving a handsome and youthful look about him. True, the wolf was only a mere 3 years old, but life had aged him well beyond his years both inside and out. Forgive me for my manners, or lack thereof.. Name's Aok. I overheard you making introductions; I belong to no pack at this time..

•• all was quiet, well at the moment that is. you never know who you might just meet out and about in places like this. places for all and everyone to come. ah not one of her best places or most liked places to come. but she was just passing through. really just stopping for a breather. then she was just going to carry right on again. though she had no idea where in the world she was going. she just walked on and on. not stopping or looking for a place to call her home. why? when she just doesn't suit the life of a pack member. why? just because of the attitude that maya has on her; the one that she was taught, pretty much to have. ah well that was part of her past, much like it was with a lot of others, shaped by their pasts. though hers changed a lot and in more than one way. and for a lot of different reasons. the main one being to this one soul she loved and also the only one she had ever and now will. a mate? a home? is something that she will never want. not after the bad first one that she had. it was a bad experience and she'd curse the one that put what she had already been through on her again.
•• so she sat under a tree, next to the noisy loud river. trying to keep alone in this trip to the plains. maya did not want to meet anyone, but then she knew that her coming here - that was not going to be possible. why? because she was sure this was a very public place to be. drat; she wasn't really good with groups, and that was what everyone walked in, groups, with very few on their own. ah well. the worst thing that could happen is that they piss her off in a bad way. and then it was her who started fights in packs - see? she was not a very good pack member. ah well, whoever wants her for their pack will see that in time and that is when she will really laugh at the fool. maya was just not a good member for a pack. her attitude was the thing that you really had to watch out for. you never know when she will just snap out. aye, she tried it once and now never again; you'll fine her sticking to that.
•• as she sat, her tail flicked with a sorta of harsh flicking movement. flicking it at the ground and some of the dirty under the grass flicked out from it. not enough to fling it at anything however. her harks twitched on the top of her head as she heard the paw steps of another. her head turned to look that way in a quick movement, and a snarl formed on her maw. until she got a good look at the one who made her way over. though as she noticed it was a femme coming towards her, she calmed, though only just a little bit. you can't really trust anyone - or maya couldn't anyway. trusting others was something that she'd really regret. ah well. golden opticals watch shone in the night kept on the femme who was with her. watching her movements as she came and sat near maya. not close though. maya noticed the smirk on her opticals and just ignored it. what the hell is she smirking at maya thought. though she shrugged it off and took in the words that the femme said.
•• the female that had came to maya had asked her name. after telling hers of course. good. at least this bitch had manners. she laughed inside at her own thinking and parted her own kissers to speak. "maya, what do you want?" if she was hoping for someone friendly - then maya was not the one she was looking for. because that was some thing that maya was not. though head turned to another femme in the area, one who didn't know they were here? by the looks of it. she hadn't come to say hello. good. meeting one was enough, but two? oh look, a little meeting, maya smirked as the male came his way over. "hello, aok." it wasn't very big words, but you know. all well she had nothing else to say. what? i said that maya was not the one that liked pack like things. or group meetings. one on one was fine. but this was far from it.

r o s a r y i sold my soul just to hide the light The little demonic monster that hid within Rosary's mind was rearing its ugly head once more. She could feels its ugly red, bloodshot eyes staring to the depths of her soul, waiting to corrupt her thoughts. It was tethered down by thick chains, the chains representing all the was good in the she-wolf, the monster representing the bad. It was a terrible looking thing, feminine and beautiful, yet scarred so badly, that it was hard to tell where the face and mouth were. It stayed hidden in the shadows of her conscious, but it seemed to snarl at her, louder and louder as Rosary's pale eyes spotted yet another wolf. A male...the monster in her head began to roar furiously at this, its red eyes beginning to glow with such animosity, Rosary was having a hard time controlling it. Rosary's eyes narrowed even further, he hackles rising, a low growl forming in her throat. A male. Males were terrible creatures, put on the earth only to torture the minds of the "weaker sex". The females. As she thought of this, the demon roared and roared, straining against the chains that bound it. The chains also represented her sanity, the monster insanity. She couldn't let it escape, not now, not ever.
"Leave me," muttered Rosary to herself as she lifted her head from the raging waters of the river, a few water droplets still clinging to her scarred maw. Her pale crimson eyes flickered to the two wolves, now making light conversation that she could barely make out. Her ears swiveled in the direction the wind was carrying their words. They said polite hello's, introducing themselves. The female seemed a little...bitchy, but the male was obviously trying to be a gentleman, something Rosary knew full well that he wasn't. Normally, if Rosary was in a perfectly sane mood, she would have been frightened by the brutish looking male, but not today. She felt the darkness, all the pent up rage that she kept locked away in the depths of her thorny soul, she felt it give new life to her frail body, her shoulders sharp, her beautiful black and crimson pelt beginning to shine with the new promise of today.
A part of her wanted to fight back all the rage, make it go away, but the demon that was roaring in her mind refused to let it wane. The wolfess sat down by the river bank, her gaze watching the two very, very carefully, her ears catching every syllable they spoke. As she listened, she found them to be quite boring. Nevermind that...she refused to go over there, scared that the demon would break its chains. She didn't want to hurt anyone today...unless they gave her reason to. So, there sat Rosary, by the river, stoic and silent, like some fallen angel, beautifully scarred. A few feathers began to float in the air around her before flitting away into the river, being swallowed up in the water. Rosary was suddenly amused by something, how out of place she must have looked. Dark, fallen, mysterious, in stark contrast to the golden brown of the plains, the blue of the river.
ooc: really, really crappy post.
