A heavy set male stepped through the wide open territory in the shadows of the morning, the sun would be coming up any time now but for now the land was still covered by the dark. He had been walking all night trying to find what he was looking for, an unclaimed territory. He wasn’t the type to want to follow although he did if he had to, what he wanted was to be an alpha. The archangel named Neptune inhaled deeply, taking in the spring air. A smile came across his lightly colored maw, perfect. It seemed that there was no pack here and that was just what he wanted.
The sun was now peeking over the trees and the territory was dimly lit in blue light. His brown optics scanned the new land, from what he could see it was beautiful. He knew there were a few unclaimed territories here but it was this one he’d gone looking for, Kin Fell. He was making his way to the top of what could have been a hill but was really a small mountain. His large paws allowed him to move easily up the slope, despite his long night he wasn’t tired.
By the time he reached his destination the morning was clear, and he could see for miles. There was little time to take in the sights. There was business to tend to, still just looking over the land he couldn’t understand why others of his kind wanted to destroy this world. Shaking his massive head he turned and walked into a group of trees where he found a group of caves that were imbedded in the side of a ledge. It would be the perfect place for a pack. One of the openings in the rock face was higher than the others and he had to jump onto a ledge to get inside. He walked into the den and looked around, this one would be his so long as nobody challenged him for the territory.
Now he walked out of the den once more and stood on the ledge outside the entrance. When there was a pack this would be good place for meetings. Now he raised his head and howled in his smooth deep voice. If there were any close that wanted to join him they were welcome to follow his call and the same went for anyone who as bold enough to challenge him for the power over Kin Fell. The sound of his voice carried over the hills and as he finished he could hear it echoing over the territory. He took this time now to lay on the ledge but he remained alert and his ears pricked forward in hopes of catching an answer to his call weather it was friendly or unfriendly. This land would be his now, if another archangel wanted it he would have no reserves about fighting for this place but he hoped it wouldn’t come to that. He was good at heart and fighting was not enjoyable for this brute. He hoped that when others came to join him they would be good hearted, like himself.
