The sun, how it blazed down on him like his mothers gaze. A shiver of pleasure crept through his feathers and they seemed to ruffle themselves and fall slowly and gently back to rest upon his back. Beraliv walked very discreetly and smoothly, his head hunched down and his eyes closed. What a wonderful feeling it was... that feeling of just living your life and living it to the fullest. Of course Beraliv, of all wolves, would think this. He got drunk on just plain living. Beraliv blinked rappidly and looked up with a bemused expression. As an archangel, his eyes were naturally pale and dull but for one; Beraliv had some of the liveliest eyes out there. They sparked with interest at nearly everything that moved and holds so much emotion at times that others may think he stole a timber wolves eyes if it were'nt for the distinct difference between pupil and iris. And so, Beraliv walked the stretch of the beach with a patient air to him; head veering off this way and that in curiousity. He really had no idea he was in Timber wolf territory.
His distant wanderings continued until he reached the sheer rock wall that surrounded most of Equator Cove. Another curious yet troubled look crossed his features. "You know, I can't walk any further if your there," He said in a scolding tone. With his feathers bristling slightly, he turned and trodded off back the way he came. Beraliv was quite frustrated at the cliff wall being there and with astonishing quickness, his personality changed in a snap. Unitelligible mutterings could be heard from him and his ears would fold back and then perk right back up with his annoyance. He looked out to the calm ocean and his eyes became subdued and his heartbeat slowed to its normal mileage. And just like that, Beraliv was back to his old self; a skip in his walk and a smile plastered to his face. "Glorious weather, mister sun!" He breathed, his head cocking up to see the sun. Immediatly, pain began to creep into his eyes and he glanced back to the ocean. "And are'nt you very refreshing to the eye... or eyes!" He squeeled, his feathers shooting up in excitment. And with that, he bounded for the ocean in one quick leap.
Beralic giggled and kicked as he entered deeper waters. His feathers were already soaked and only his ears remained dry. That changed though... for Beraliv dived under the surface and bobed back up with a gasp that held thrill in it. "Oho! You, miss ocean are surely the loveliest," Beraliv snickered and licked at the ocean's surface. His eyes widened and he gagged, water spluttering from his mouth. "Yet, you taste dreadful," He moaned and began to paddle back to shore. Once he arrived, he dragged himself to one of the towering pillars and rubbed himself against it's cool touch. It was a very nice feeling, having cold on cold... it made Beraliv smile even wider. He had finished his scratching of the feathers and sides and began to assume the yoga position of downward facing dog. Beraliv laughed and soon was lying down with that same old smile on his face. "It was fun my friends, you have truly beat me to it," He said with a relieved sigh. He had to admit, misses oceas and mister sun sure did go well together... He looked at the two briefly and winked at the ocean as if prompting its cool waves to reach up and give the burning hot sun a hug. "I dare you..." Beraliv whispered.

>>Artemis ivory fur gleamed as she made her way along the Timber Lands, heading for the equator cove. Her twin harks were pricked upright, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come to them. Her shoulder had healed completely. There was probably a scar, but it was buried deep beneath the thickness of her fur. Her large amber orbs were locked a head of her, lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines. A soft pan escaped her maw as she loped easily. Her paws left perfect impressions behind in the dirt. Her long banner was hanging between her back hocks, swaying gently with the motion of her gait.
>>her nose twitched as she picked up the familar scents that surrounded her. above the sun was peering out from behind a darkened storm cloud. her senses told her that there was a storm coming, but it wasn't a big one. the temperature had dropped significantly and it was much cooler now. she loved the spring. the only season she wasn't fond of was summer. it gets too darn hot. she pressed her nose to the ground and began snuffling along. artemis accidentally inhaled some of the dirt and sneezed, shaking her head trying to shake the grains of dirt that had gotten sucked up in her nostrils.
I must be weird, inhaling dirt. you're such a retard, she thought to herself sarcastically as she continued to lope. as she rounded a particular corner, the wind brought her the scent of male. her ears slowly pricked upright, a bit of interest and curiosity now sliding across her facade. she spied him not too far off. artemis began approaching him and once she reached a respectable distance, she planted her rump down on the ground, forelegs coming around to the front of her chest, keeping her upper body erect. ears swiveled forward to show him that she meant him no harm. she began speaking.
"hello. i'm artemis...potential lead of the swamp. what might your name be?" she asked curiously and waited for him to speak. she could hear the birds chirping in the tree tops surrounding them and heard a few of them take flight. one ear cocked back as she patiently sat.
>>artemis began wondering if he picked up on her wounds. he probably did or will she thought. it didn't mean that she wasn't weak. hell she was anything but that. still, she wouldn't know what was going though the males mind when he turned to her. best to keep her guard up incase he was one of those that were arrogant and liked to flirt with the females. not that she minded, cause shes could flirt with the best of them, but it would be nice to meet a male wolf that was nice...kinda like matchstick. Now why on earth am i thinking of him? she mused silently to herself and waited.

No luck. This time, Beraliv sighed with frustration in his tone, his eyes fliting for a moment to look back at the ocean and sun. "You guys would have never worked out," He mumbled; ears folding back in shame. Beraliv wanted the two to co-exist... he knew the sun brought warmth and the ocean brought a plentiful supply of cool water. "You guys would go perfect together, misses ocean cooling mister sun down and all," He thought aloud; completely forgetting his last statement. His paws tracing tracing tracing bumps for the ocean and the sun as a big circle. Beraliv actually knew they could'nt hear him but he would try nontheless and maybe he'd get an answer back one day. With a huff of bordom, he wiggled his toushe and bent his head down to the sand. With a snuff at the odd substance, the sand backfired and attacked his nose and eyes. Beraliv jumped back with a yelp. his feathers laying flat against his back in complete suprise and fear. The sand had crept up his nose and unto his eyes, making him whimper and scratch at both of them to try and rid the nasty sand. Finally, the sand departed from both entry ways to leave Beraliv shivering in astonishment and anger.
To make things even more confusing, he smelt a female coming. His ears drew back for he always had trouble speaking to females... they seemed so... difficult. Beraliv's shivering stopped abruptly and he inhaled and axhaled deeply to rid his nerves. For a moment, complete silence overcame him and he smiled cheesily with happiness. All his senses had been cleared and a friends was coming! Beraliv knew this day was going to be interesting, as all days with him were, but never had he had a wolf come to him. His tail wagged and his almost blind looking eyes stared ahead in anticipation. Unfortunately, his excitment had made him oblivious to his surrounding and he stared ahead with the look of a pup on him. When the female spoke, he did not react at first but his feathers jerked upwards in suprise but fell quickly after. Then, as if on cue, his head shot up and he looked at her with eyes that held complete and utter fear.
"Pl-please don't h-h-hurt me," His voice trembled and he pressed himself against the pillar of stone with a passion. Oh, the scars the scars! The injuries inflicted upon her hide made his darkening eyes widen to show his pure fear. "Don't hurt me!" Beraliv pleaded, his eyes dilating to a pinprick as he scooted even closer against the pillar. She looked so familiar it weakened his young bones and made them rattle with fear. Something, whatever it was in Beraliv's intricate mind, popped and his mouth parted in a small gasp and then a quiet era seeped through him. His eyes were locked unto her's. Oh... he loved a Timber wolf's eyes so much; they held so much in them that he wished he could snatch them up and have them for his own. A slight shake of the head and then a smile,"Hi! I'm Beraliv, what's your name misses Timber wolf?"
It's true that it was quite unusual for Beraliv to change from such an opposite emotion as happiness to fear in an instant but in the case of switching personality's quickly, it was a regular life for Beraliv. Now that he had completed a stage of fear that made him practically wet himself, he was back to the usual happy idiot wolf that annoyed and enlightened others. "You know, I had the strangest feeling I know you, Have we met?" Beraliv chirped brightly, now standing and stepping closer to her with a huge and toothy grin. "I'm Beraliv," He repeated, wagging his thick tail. Now I can play with this wolf, I'm sure she'd like to, he thought dreamily, looking at her with a curious glint in his eyes.
