Pandora rolled her eyes at her companions comment, gave a halfhearted shrugged and walked off. If he wanted to be like that, well let him; what was her right to give him crack for his sense of humour - or lack therof - ? With a flick of a slightly bushy tail, the femme Timber ducked under a large branch that barred her way to the main camp of the territory, sunlight dappling her bicoloured coat. She was skeptical whether or not they would care of her request, but she could still try.
Not to mention her excitement that she'd made it as a battler; a position she'd always wanted. Her skill and determination made up for her size, although she'd half to work harder to prove herself (she assumed). Pandora wondered if she could practice sometime with one of the packmembers, and with a glance at the side of the shelter she noticed a new wolf. Urban. The foreign word left an aftertaste on her tongue; they'd met a few days in the fore and she was wondering how many more homos she'd have to meet before the fortnight was over.

Winter brings cold mornings and freezing nights Late afternoon. The sun was high in the sky and warming the earth in its wake. The ground underfoot was no longer frozen and running was actually enjoyable. Hunting would be troublesome no more as the hiding animals began to emerge from their slumbers- leaving their warm dens behind to venture into the unknowns of the forest. Spring was the perfect time of year, beautiful weather and longer days. Undoubtedly my favorite season. Caught in the moment I found myself raising my maw and letting loose a small torrent of pleased barks and short howls. There was nothing like waking from a peaceful night of sleeping and taking a run through the forest. Pockets of cold air still floated about and one could easily found themselves trapped in the unpleasant air, but never for very long. I had long forgotten where I was going but my senses told me I wasn't far from camp. Demon was sure to be up- he always woke at the most ungodly hours of the day and Pandora should surely be up by now. Pandora and I were the only members so far of the small Valhalla Pack, but that didn't mean we weren't thankful to be here, speaking mostly for myself of course. As a first time pack member I always felt awkward for some reason or another, not that that is something so completely uncommon. Still, by now there is no reason not to know my pack well. Deciding I would have better luck finding Pandora I put my nose to the task of finding my way back to camp. But with Spring's arrival there are promises of warmth Picking up speed, the forest became a blur of trees. I was rapidly approaching the break in the forest that would put me in the camp's entrance, this is the point where any logical wolf would have begun to slow down so not as to hurt themselves...or others really. I, on the other hand, am not always capable of thinking logically. Moments later I found myself crashing into the camp, not stopping until I tumbled into a small multi-colored...thing. I shook my head, desperately trying to bring the world back into focus. When everything stopped spinning I noticed that the multi-colored thing was not in fact a thing but turned out to actually be the lovely Pandora instead. That was the first thing I noticed, the second thing that I noticed was that I was still sprawled out on the ground, though I had stopped thrashing my head about like a maniac. Rolling onto my back I found myself looking up at Pandora, whose expression was unreadable at this point. I gave a lopsided grin before barking a friendly greeting. Hello there Pandora! Well that got an expression out of her! A look crossed her face that I translated into...well actually I couldn't translate it at all. Hmmmm, maybe I should take up a new hobby- reading facial expressions. Ha! And what would I do? Stare at animals all day and try to figure out what they were feeling? Well it's definitely something to ponder at a different time. I guess that's something to look forward to Words: 553 Status: Finished ^-^ Muse: Pretty good, better than usual at least -shrug- Comments: Enjoy!

Pandora twitched her tail uncertainly. "Ello, Urban," she greeted him. "Lovely morning, I would think. You?" Her paws felt the ground, so cold in the feeble morning sun. She loved this weather - sunny, not to hot, but in the between of warmth and cool. It was magificent, springtime was, after all, her favourite season. She glanced around, then back at Urban. He seemed friendly enough; not unlike her brother that had - never mind. She pushed this wistful thought away like she always did. "Nice weather, nothing like those Archangels eh?" The multicoloured she wolf, with her dense but short mottled coat, wasn't shy about her bias against those winged fools. Her eyes scanned the camp around her, then back at Urban. "So you're a 'sitter," the femme wolf finally commented. "Still, want to practise? Battle practise, I mean," she added quickly.
