Artemis' paws moved easily as she made her way up the Skybrush mountains. Twin harks were pricked on either side of her head, acoustics cupping the soft noises of nature that surrounded her. Her large amber orbs were locked a head of her, watching each step she took carefully. The mountains were rather tricky, walking up them. Her paws clung to the rocks as she took a few more steps.
Above her, the sky was a battleship grey color, with fluffy ash colored clouds that drifted lazily along. A few birds had taken flight, their bodies ebony against the greyness. Her lower jaw had dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines. Tail hung down between her back hocks, swaying gently with the motion of her lope. A gentle spring breeze whipped her ivory fur around in all directions.
She was out hoping to meet some interesting wolves. She was a timber wolf and so far had met another like herself. She wondered where the elementals were as well as the archangels. A smile formed on her face as she stepped over a particularly large boulder. Eventually she reached the top of the mountain and planted her rump down on it, her forelegs coming around to the front of her chest, keeping her upper body erect. She closed her jaws and just began surveying the land below. It was lovely. The scenery was outstanding up here and she wondered why she hadn't come up here before. Her tail was curled around her back paws, twitching on occasion. She sighed and waited to see what would happen next.

One, two, three, four. Counting the beats in her mind, or was she counting each step in her mind. She wasn’t stupid, but a guess, she could not be good at coordination, and that was true. If she was stupid that would be a laugh, having to count each step when she tried to advance on a mountain. Her mind would travel a lot when she was just wondering, she sighed and then smiled, she could get up a mountain even if she was stupid, even though that is a harsh word, and it put out the truth. Her, one, two, three, four increased just like her tail did, her tail wagged and her feet moved forward on a slant faster, and faster. Her light blue, scary and bizarre eyes penetrated towards the top. As her trot became a run, she didn’t let her eyes blink, her eyes stayed forward, eye on the prize, and her prize was the top, and she couldn’t wait to reach it and plant her butt on the top, and let her lugs rest. A well deserved rest, this mountain or tall hill was quite the trot and when she reached the top – which hopefully she’d make – would sit and pant. Panting, it was starting to urge on her now. She closed her eyes and slowed her pace; she’d take a quick breath.
Standing still for only a little while she looked up into the sky, it was dark. Not dark as in no sun or moon, it was dark as in there were ashy clouds covering over the sky, they were white on top, milky white, but then on the bottom they were ash like, seemed like they would crumble under the slightest touch of a breeze. Still, the sight was beautiful, though for most eyes, it would be bizarre and odd and not many would like the sight, maybe they would be scared and frightening, what was the world coming to could be one of possible questions. But it was only the way the light shone on the clouds, and it wouldn’t last long, these clouds, cumulus clouds signalled for rain, but she could have her clouds off and she could be wrong, all she knew was that they were pretty and dark.
Her jaws seemed to drop as she watched a magnificent bird seem to glaze across the sky, it just stood there, and wings outspread. But as her jaws parted, she flinched and pulled it open wider, she would have to get used to the pain, it sucked. She let her tongue, salmon and speckled with dark purple or black towards the back hung out of her parted jaws. But as she watched the bird soar it seemed to close up nice and tight. Her jaw clenched up, why did they have feathers? They couldn’t use them to fly like the birds that soared above them. What did those birds think, they have feathers the same, they should have wings, but nope, they couldn’t have that privilege. They had to just walk among the grounds with useless feathers sticking up out of there backs. She snarled, and as she did her feathers rose and bristled. She wouldn’t get hostile at the birds, she let them fall back, as they did they fit perfectly over her back, fur parted to let them lye, and then that fur fell over the feathers covering them up. You could tell that she was an archangel with the feathers and eyes, but if you found her in a dark corner, with no light shining down on her, and her eyes shut and she was relaxed and feathers were unseen, you would think she was a timber. Her colors were so subtle, and she liked it more, she could almost be apart of both, and it was nice.
Who cares about birds, she wanted to reach the top of the mountain and just sit and relax by her self. She glanced from side to side, her feathers lolled up and down then relaxed. Closed her eyes and she was on a ledge and she leaped off it, and headed up to the top of the mountain her eyes now wide with curiosity, she long legs striding forward, but her bulky body holding her back to be slower than she could be fast. She was gaining on the mountain; she would reach the top very soon now. But then she stopped.
Her feathers shot up. She was stopped she had nearly tumbled over her own feet. She shut her eyes, silver and purple eyelids closing over her bizarre eyes, and opened her maw, she drew in a deep breath. Wolf. Female. Timber. Her feathers drew on edge, her eyes snapped open and she warily walked up to the top, she was now twenty feet from the top, but it would take her a little bit longer to reach the top now, she had a wolf up a head and she didn’t know what to think of her, she would just have to wait and see. She let her feathers fall back, cover up and headed on up. Her feet pricking at the cold stone warily, they never dragged across the land, they would touch than just like an electric spark, hop back up and another would take its place. She finally made it to the top.
She stood there alone at the top, her eyes gazing with fierce eyes at the wolf. She never let her feathers rise, she wasn’t scared this wolf never seemed like it was going to attack her, so she never had to be worried, but she was ready for a lunge, but maybe she would like to lunge at her to, but she wasn’t going to. She scanned over the wolf, pretty, she was all white and it looked like she had amber eyes from this angle. Her fur was nicely placed over her body, and it was a nice pretty color, very sweet. She was bigger than she, so she would be taking risks, but what was her name. She gave the wolf a curt smile and dipper her head in greeting. Her eyes never seemed to leave the femme for more than a second though and that would stay like it for a little while, she wouldn’t be able to trust someone she never knew, oh, she wished that magnificent wolf was with her, she would feel so much comfortable for herself, but she would be scared for the other, you never knew what that crazed wolf was going to do.
ooc: sorry for it being kinda short, i haven't really role played with wolves before.

Caillech ?! Thump, thump. Thump, thump. The beat of her heart was heavy. Drool dripped off her tongue, which was not lolling out of her mouth; Caillech was tired, and panting heavily. Her long lean legs had too much weight upon them. It was natural for an Archangel however, to get tired so quick and so easily. 'A pain in your royal -' she stopped herself mid-thought, "Virgin ears, Calli, virgin ears." she mumbled under her breath. Caillech really needed to stop cursing, though she did not mind it, she respected the vows of other's and tried to bring that bad habbit to an end. This mountain was merciless, the treck was hard and the weather gruesome. Calli didn't like it one bit, grey skies were never pretty. Bt atleast the land will begin to rise and flourish once more, coming out of Winter's wrath to dominate once again. Flowers were still dead and gone though, as the snow was just beginning to melt and the air just began to bring warmth and comfort to the inhabitants of the place we call home. Caillech's head fell down, the saliva still rolling aimlessly off her tongue. Exghaustion overcame her body and her legs vibrated slightly, because for one she was cold, and two they just couldn't go on without a well deserved rest. Calli found a dry spot under a large fir tree, no snow, just yellow-almost green grass. Her placid eyes scanned the vacinity, of course it was full of beauty, it was the wilderness. Freedom tore through the land like the plague, and it was wonderful. Silence took over the piece of land she rested upon, the songs of the birds played softly in the background. Caillech listened to her heartbeat once more, saying the rythm in her head along with it. Heartbeats played her favorite song, to her it was the song of life. It had to be, if one had no heartbeat there was no life, no soul; just death. That's all anyone knew now, death, with fear as its partner. We were all scared of dieing, yet we all killed. We were merciless killers, wolves especially. There was no wrong in hunting, that's your life support. But fighting to solve problems? Pathetic. But of course, Calli was being hypocritical, in a sense. But she was brought up to fight, not trusting and to defend herself for her life. That's what meant most to her; living and breathing. It was the best gift she'd ever gotten. This wasn't home, it was hot and dry. The trees were no longer pine trees, but only one's that could thrive in the jungle. Her throat was parched, and there was no water. But there was something else lurking in the jungle, it was dim and had an eery feel to it. The forked tongue flicked out of its mouth, tasting the air. It coiled itself around the branch lowering its head to the quivering canine below, black bead-like eyes boring into its soul. As the serpent writhed further down the branch it bent with its body. The green scales provided perfect camoflogue to the lime-coloured leaves decorating the tree. Without a second thought the fifteen feet of muscle plunged to the floor, writhing in the air, coiling around the pup as it landed. The sharp yelp that pierced the air slowly faded into nothing, adding to the eeriness of the jungle. Run home young one, death only stalks the weak. Blank eyes flashed open, horror-struck with held in their deep pools. The feathers aligned down her neck and shoulders lifted with the panic that pierced through her body like she'd just been electricuted and the wave of electricity now surged through her body. Caillech had been having the same dream for weeks now, the same feeble pup and the same fifteen foot long green serpent. Each time it was in a different part of the jungle, but it was nontheless the very same jungle. They each has similar assets. As Calli eased up, realizing it was just a nightmare and that she had just fallen into a light nap. The dull-toned feathers fell back onto her white and indigo fur. Caillech lazily lifted her body, sleep still pagued her mind, delaying her actions. The sky was somewhat darker, the once lightgrey sky dimmed into a slightly darker shade. Ugh.. rain.. she thought, discusted. Rain was aweful, the air became damp and your fur frizzed and did other unexplainable thing. Caillech began once more, on her small adventure.. journey, what ever you would like to call it, to the top of the skybrush mountains. The wind picked up, ruffling her feathers and blowing through her fur. Calli's ears were pinned to her skull, and her feathers to her back. She hated walking in the wind, it was hard to keep your eyes open, and if you did then the wind put much force upon them, making it slightly painful to keep them open. Her eyes began to water, small drops flying back into the land she'd already past. The rocks were hard to walk on, and Caillech's footing sometimes slipped, causing her to smack down against their hard surface. "Blasted snow, stupid stupid weather. And curse you rocks!" Caillech exclaimed, to her astonishment, louder than she'd implied it to be. Suddenly the scent of two other's wafted towards her, filling her lungs with the smell. Sudden alertness overcame Calli; she had a harsh disliking to strangers, that and she felt like a complete idiot cursing about the land infront of complete and total randoms. One was alike Caillech, an Archangel, as the other was a white Timber. Aw how cute.. But the other Archangel seemed on edge as well, and she now saw that they both had just arrived here, much like herself. A low growl rumbled in Calli's throat.. warning them.

Artemis' nose twitched as she picked up the scent of the second female. She raised her head and immediately heard the warning growl coming from her. Artemis' body posture remained in a non threatening way as she glanced to the first female, acknowledging her. She let her tail wag a bit, showing both that she was no threat and that they didn't have to worry about her going postal on them in any shape or form.
"Hello. I'm Artemis. You dont have to be alarmed, I'm not going to attack you," she said in a kind voice.
Clearly they were both nervous aroudn her. The two other females were archangels. But that was fine with her. She wouldn't go judging them based on their appearance. While Artemis might seem sweet and cuddly, she had a deadly streak in her a mile long. If anyone double crossed her or lied to her, she would make them pay. She was also not a stranger to revenge. But that was only used in extreme cases. A gentle breeze whipped her fur around in several directions, causing a bit of a tingle to run up her spine. Her lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over her bottom two canines as she panted slightly.
I wonder if they'd met many wolves that caused them trouble in the first place, she wondered to herself.
Artemis had a bit of a flaw too. She tended to analyze things alot. Instead of sometimes just letting things go, like what is meant to be will be. But she couldn't help it. Half the time her feelings ended up being wrong and she hoped her mind would compensate and tell her that she was right for once in her life. A gentle sigh escaped her maw as she blinked. The battleship grey sky seemed to be getting slightly darker, and the temperature dropped slightly, indicating a small storm was coming. But she remained sitting there, waiting for one of the two females to speak next.

If she hadn’t have done what she’d done, she wouldn’t be here. But she regretted it, she killed the spirits of two, a daughter and mother, but was it just their spirits. It wasn’t that she killed Saima, it was that she killed her mother… She felt bad about what she had done to Saima, but Saima was just like a daughter to her, and Saima’s mother never really was. Risk was always there for Saima, and what her mother had done was the cause of the death. She made her death wish, she had gotten it. She didn’t think that Saima was that upset, because she helped Risk with the job. Saima wasn’t seen after that, she was just gone. Did someone find out? Did someone know what had happened, was she killed for killing her mother? No, she was just on her own, it hadn’t been a long time from when the incident – which is what she called it – happened. Risk was never the same without Saima, she was almost like her sister or mother, a best friend, and she was exactly like her real mother the looks and appeal, but she really hoped that she wasn’t like her mother, personality wise. That would be such a bad thing to happen again. Saima was about a little over a year now, she must be doing well, and she really did hope that she was. If she’d ever found the body of Saima, she would be devastated, she wouldn’t be able to go on, it would be to emotional, depressing and just all around sad. She would absolutely kill another. She wouldn’t stop, if anyone ever touch her, she would give them a lesson they would not forget.
Saima, if I ever find you, you will never leave me again, I wont let anything happen to you, please come back, I miss and love you, the way your mother did not. I will do what you want, I am hoping to help you in many ways, come and visit, stay or come by for a few days, anything to see you, oh, what I would do. Saima come back. Risk, getting in touch with her inner spiritual side, sent a silent prayer to see if this would help her to find Saima. Silver fur brushed in the wind, this was her sign, she had the littlest hope that it would be a sign to show her that her message would be sent soon enough, that maybe Saima would have the urge to come back, that she would just decide to turn back and run along to find her and just tell Risk she was okay, and that would be all she wanted. Nothing more.
Freakish eyes gazed down at what she saw. Her pale, silver and purple washed fur blew in the light, but constant breeze that flooded over the and around the mountain. Somewhat relaxing, it was nice to relax on a mountain, which was nice, but she wasn’t really going to be relaxed, there were to she-wolves in front of her and that was pressure to know that she would have to be on guard, but she would hide it well, but her sketchy, nervous flicks would give her away, she would try to stop that. She rasped her salmon tongue around her long and narrow maw. Her pearly, ivory sharp teeth shined as she pulled her tongue back into her mouth. She tried to rasp it around her teeth without showing them to much, she wasn’t trying to be hostile and flash her teeth at the femmes in front of her. She closed her pale, green and blue, pupil-less eyes and then re-opened them, looking at the two females.
The first, a ivory timber femme was the first she saw, she had been there before Risk herself had arrived. This made her a little wary when she first saw her. She blinked and nodded. This femme was just about the size of a normal timber wolf, but then again Risk was so small that she looked like a giant compared to her. She shuttered, what she was going to do if they both teamed up on her, she would only be able to barley take one, she was just too small for this, she hated that part.
The second female was a silvery, indigo and blue but her eyes, so much different. Her eyes were a pale silver and grey, like hers no pupil but scary and blank. They were so lifeless. But then again they did look cool, they were strange and then nice, she’d love to have them, instead of having place blue green ones, and purple fur, she was a little bizarre.
She looked at the white femme, the first. "Hello. I'm Artemis. You dont have to be alarmed, I'm not going to attack you," Her words echoed though her ears, her eyes focused in on the female, Artemis, pretty name for a pretty wolf, nice. She wasn’t going to attack either of them. That means that they weren’t teamed up, whoa. That was a relief. She nodded in response and let her eyes calm a little. She wasn’t alarmed, and she wouldn’t be. But as the words echoed from Artemis’ maw, she flinched in response; she was a little caught of guard for the sudden words. She was expecting silence and didn’t get it.
Hi, I am Risk, and I am not here to harm, just here for a nice trot and relax on the mountain, sorry if I am in your way, do you mind me staying, I won’t be too long, I’ve been on foot all day, and this mountain isn’t that small. She stuttered on, her words slurred just a little, but easy enough to understand what she was saying. She showed a glimpse of a smile and looked at the other wolf, she wondered the name put on this wolf and tiled her head, urging for something from her. Maybe they would just have a friendly talk, and just discuss random things. She wouldn’t let her pink and purple feathers rise, she was determined not to get worked up, she wasn’t going to do that…today.

Caillech., The grey clouds continued to roll over the skies, casting a dim shadow across the skybrush mountains. But alas the sun was shining, you could see the random spots where streams of sunlight continued to shine through. The sun caught her face, giving her colourless eyes a crystal-like gleame. In the sun her eyes were pretty, they still carried a lifeless and mysterous appeal to them, but it looked as if a thousand diamonds were fauceted in her iris. The feathers on her back were raised in alarm, though the two wolves had spoken, Caillech was still on edge. Her mind didn't ease, and neither did her intentions if they both chose to attack. Artemis and Risk. Both very nice names, in her opinion. Caillech actually quite liked the name Artemis, it had that edgy feel to it. But it was still pretty. She judged a lot about an individual by their names, and first impressions. Her tail moved back and forth slightly, as if twitching. You could see the one Archangel waiting, waiting for Caillech to say something in response, or if she was just going to be a silent mute. She didn't even know why she'd come up here, it seemed pointless and the long adventure wasn't even worth it now. Caillech just wanted some peacefull alone time. She figured the top of the mountain was the last place anyone would be. Looks like there are others seeking the same peace and quiet. "Caillech... my name is Caillech," she spoke softly, just loud enough for them to hear and then paused. Her lifeless eyes flicked from Risk to Artemis, double checking to see if their unharmful intentions had changed, "much like you I've come hear in peace, just don't do anything that could cause trouble.. for yourself." Her feathers lowered as the uneasiness settled. Her head tilted upwards, gazing at the sky she realized the sun had hidden itself once more, defeated by the clouds. Ugh.. the thought started in her head, but ended up escaping her jowls with a low grunt. Caillech looked back to the foreign wolves, observing their behavior. She figured what they'd said is true, they weren't a threat to Calli and she knew it. Muscles relaxe and she exhaled a sigh of relief. Fighting is not what she wanted to do right now, not when she was merely looking for piece and quiet. Plus, the one Archangel was tiny. Caillech would break her, it'd just be so unfair. Her mind wandered, idly carrying her body in the direction of a large boulder. She climbed ontop of it, gazing out at the surrounding land. The view was breath-taking. The rolling hills covered in trees, with the birds flying abouve the land with pure freedom running through their souls; nothing more, nothing less. Caillech's tail wrapped around her hind haunches, well as far is it could go. Archangels had very short, yet bushy tails. The fact that Calli had turned her back on the others, was just a test to them. If they'd take advantage of their opportunity to attack, well then she'd further put a wall up to people she did not know. If they didn't, then obviously there are still some good souls in this world. They just hide amongst the rest, as Caillech does. ooc // sorry its so short! and that it took me so long to reply. ive been busy lately. so i kind of rushed this. so very sorry.
