A slight breeze ruffled my feathers. They were small compared to the normal Archangel's feathers....and they were red. Like a cardinal's red feathers; they were red. My frail form walked along. A scent reached my nose long before I crossed the border to the Pa'chuua pack. The fog began to cling to my feathers and fur, as if I was giving it a ride. I walked into the middle of the territory, on purpose. A grin crossed my face. Hehe.. A normal, smart wolf would howl to announce it's arrival, so that Lithium wouldn't rip them to pieces. I was smart, oh yes, and cunning. This time, I would be accepted into the pack; and if the dumb alpha didn't accept me, I turn around and fight to the death. If the pack decided to try and save their stupid alpha, then I would die today; my fur would be the color of my feathers. Call me stupid, I don't care. I will be accepted this time.
It greatly pissed me off that every single wolf I met underestimated me. Not now, never again. I would kill every wolf that confronted me that way from now on. I already knew that the alpha of Pa-chuua pack, Lithium, had chosen a beta female, Asa. I had heard that she was great, and had foolishly chosen a disloyal beta male, Tinde. I wouldn't have trusted him to save my life. Stupid alpha. I let out a low snarl. I shrugged off the thought, hoping I wouldn't meet Tinde today. I wanted only to speak to Lithium, I wouldn't accept any other judgment[well really, I wouldn't accept any judgment except the one I wanted..but still]. Once I was a member of the great Pa-chuua pack, I would be able to rip apart any wolf that spoke bad of me. I thought about what position I wanted. Well, Lithium would choose, but I wanted to be a high-position. There weren't any left, obviously, though. I thought about it. She didn't have any fighters, I knew that. I grumbled, not wanting a stupid position. A delta was a beta in training, maybe she would give me that.
When I was a pawstep closer, to the place where the pack slept, than the middle of the territory; I stopped. I would wait for the alpha to come to me. If any of the stupid betas showed, I would ignore them. I wouldn't let my guard down, of course, but I wasn't about to let them pass judgment. I grinned, even though it was so foggy you could barely see the sun, I knew the sun was setting. The fog was thickening. A few more moments passed.
Dusk.
Finally! It was dusk. I leaned back on my haunches, and defiantly sat down, staring at where the pack probably was. My ears stood erect on my head. The right one twitched and flipped backwards, I caught the sound of pawprints behind me. I inwardly smirked, finally! So, I was being ambushed, hmm? That was fine. I was ready, so I wouldn't jump if Asa was trying to scare me. She had a reputation for sneaking up on trespassers and scaring them. I chuckled out loud, softly, my breath being seen in the thick fog.
words: 542 muse: o_O OMG! THIS SUCKS! I'm so sorry Dx I suck at opening posts! status: finished. comments: okayz..here we go ^^; this is open for all Pa-chuua members! I would really like Tinde and Asa to come as well as Lithium[of course] xD

ooc| i LOVE sondra! she sounds awesome. 8) oh and btw, tinde's not disloyal to the pack- just to clear that up. xDD in fact, he's probably insanely loyal right now, because if you read his bio, you'll know he puts all his efforts into something if he's interested in it. the pack just has to keep his interest. |DD he probably just SEEMS disloyal cuz he's a manipulating, self-centered, and completely corrupt and demented prick. -shot'd- The dusk curled, soft and smoky, rubbing along the tangled floors of the valley. Tinde's nose quivered as he inhaled the evening air and tread through the flora that swayed in the nonexistant wind.
It was a very still night, and any rustle, however thin and ghostly, was carried to the beta's sensitive ears. This was why, when a particularly out of place sound took place near his daily stroll along the territory, he immediately angled his maw towards the direction of it, yellow eyes glinting curiously in the dark light. Because the Archangel knew the valley like one of his own numerous homemade schemes, and every detail that occured was filed away in his brain for usage later, either selfishly or for the pack. No, not his pack- the.
Such as the fact that, currently, that was a stranger smearing the fog in the land, an unrecognizable scent and a muffled but still heard rustle in the depths of the evening. Tinde shook his feathers- in anticipation? exasperation?- and melted into the mist, his inky pelt vanishing in the matching hues of the dusk.
She was small. That he noticed first, because frame was all that mattered in a battle that could spring up. And she also had a spine of dark, Spanish-red feathers...striking against the bland fog. It would not be good for camouflage, he realized, unless the valley was tinged with an unusually red sunrise one day. Which was actually quite often, he admitted. Ah, well. All the better for her.
Her. Another pending member? There had been one just the other day...Tinde wondered idly if news of their treaty with the Nyxient had spread yet. No matter. The female before him was chuckling- chuckling? Curiosity picqued, Tinde spoke, his voice drawling with honey-drenched needles.
May I ask what is so amusing on such a dreary evening? We could all do with some entertainment. A gallant smile. And, in your case, some admission too, I believe.

l i t h i u m we're not so very far from the back of our heads,
. . .
Dusk crept into the air through a secret passage, staining the innocent sky a murky shade of violet with his malevolent schemes. Of course, Sir Twilight wasn't the only one plotting dark things -- Lithium herself, mistress of smoke, mirrors and poison, was riffling through her little black book of sabotage.
...And, in your case, some admission too, I believe.
The silver-furred alpha flicked a black-tipped ear dismissively as Tinde's eerily melodious voice curled through the ever-present mist. Another member? I'm starting to regret forming an alliance with the Nyxients... With another flick of her ear and an apathetic yawn, Lithium resettled herself on her cushion of ferns, her pastel eyes flickering lazily over her surroundings -- a tightly packed grove of ancient, shadowed pines -- before resuming her musings. I'll go confront the new wolf later...I'm sure the oh-so-eloquent Tinde can handle this by himself for now.
. . .
and just a little push...

Silver orbs gleamed brightly in the ever so darkening sky, focused intently upon the wild cat within the next tree. Its yellow-orange eyes glanced back at the wolf, its maw opened in a silent snarl before leaping to the next branch. The lips of her muzzle lifted up in reply, a killer's grin, and with her back paws, she pushed off the thick branch she was balanced precariously upon to land on the branch in which the cat had previously stood.
The cat itself was tan with black stripes running down its side, and black spots coloring its neck, limbs and tail. It was about half of Asa's size, not very challenging as prey comes. Yet, one must consider the retractable claws and mouth full of sharp teeth. Asa had been bored and along with Tinde's smart-a** comments, it had made it extremely hard not to jump on him. It was than that she had caught the strange scent of the cat on the wind and promptly left. Lithium seemed to be deep in thought, probably planning the next move for the pack. Passing into the tree line she had jumped into a tree with a relatively low branch and began to climb until she could jump to a branch within the next tree. She was not exactly small, in fact she was larger than most females, so she had to be careful as to what branches she jumped on. Following the scent, she happened upon the cat. Sensing her approach, or rather hearing her jump, it turned its yellow-orange eyes upon her before taking off. The chase was on.
She was about to jump on the cat before it could jump to the next branch when the wind ruffled through the leaves of the tree bringing with it a scent of unfamiliar wolf. Silver orbs refocused on the cat as it jumped to the next branch and disappeared. Silver orbs narrowed in irritation as she laid down upon the branch to await the newcomer. From the direction of the wind, it seemed the wolf would walk right past her, so she laid in wait almost completely hidden within the branches of the tree.
As the wolf came into Asa's view, the first thing she noticed was the red feathers upon her back and second, her size. The wolf was considerably small, though from the boldness she showed from walking to the middle of the territory it would be unwise to underestimate this one. Asa was getting ready to jump in front of the wolf to block her from further entering the territory when the wolf suddenly stopped and sat. Tinde showed himself shortly after and in his own way greeted the wolf.
Slate blue and gray streaked feathers and tail rose as she silently stood and launched herself from the branch she was occupying to land a few feet from the front of the wolf. Asa inwardly grinned, it was somewhat similar to how Lithium and her had confronted Tinde. Despite this, silver orbs gleamed within the mist that continually surrounded them. Her expression cold, calculating as she waited for the wolf to speak.
