C L A I M I N G ! When there's a sentence "pack claimed by: not claimed yet" at the bottom of the board, that means you're free to claim it; but if it says "pack claimed by: pending" it means someone had asked for special permission from the admin to hold the territory. And if it says "pack claimed by: [NAME HERE]" well, you're too late.
S O H O W D O I C L A I M ? You just create a IC [in character] thread about claiming with the word "claiming" somewhere in the title. But remember, the wild is a harsh place - there probably will have some fighting between wolves. If the RPers are too stubborn to give up; then maybe the fighters' owners could talk over PM; or you could ask a staff to end it; no, they don't just decide by themselves - they will use the dice code [the same dice for breeding]. The dice code will randomly choose the winner(s).
O H O K , W H A T S H O U L D I D O N E X T ? If you're a losing wolf, well, better luck next time. And if you're the winner; brilliant! The winner can be either a female or a male; then the winner could choose the opposite gender to share their leadership together as alpha male and alpha female. After winning, you should start RPing the wolf with their new life, and start putting up threads about the rules of your own pack, punishment, and ranks etc. But remember this; you are responsible for your own pack's activity, and adding the wannabe joiners' names to your pack members listing. One more thing; don't forget to name your pack ;3
W H E N D O M Y W O L F S T O P S B E I N G T H E A L P H A ? When your wolf alpha dies, or inactive. But what if your wolf is both alive and active? Every two-three IC months [three weeks in RL] the alpha is free to be challenged by their pack members, like claiming; there'll be fightings. How to end the fight, look at first question answer.

R A N K S The ranks are what build a pack, both Archangel and timber have similar ranks but with some addition to Archangel's.
KEY; R A N K [ n u m b e r i n t h e p a c k ] in which pack
A L P H A [ 2 ] timber/archangel The leader of the pack, alphas sometimes also called the "leaderwolf". Normally there's two alphas; one male and one female, the main breeding pair [if you want to have your non-alpha wolf to breed, try to get the permission from your pack alpha - but keep in mind that they could say no]. The leaderwolf makes the final decision of the pack, and is unlikely will be challenged for his/her decision unless it's challenging season.
B E T A [ 2 ] timber/archangel Betas is like advisors to the alphas, and they are the second breeding pair - they don't actually need the permission to have offspring. Like alphas, betas should be a male and a female. They can make decision that aren't life-changing.
T E L L E R [ m a x 1 0 ] archangel pack only Tellers, or storytellers, are the most respected wolves that aren't leaders. Like their name suggests, tellers do tell stories, and if a wolf needs some advice they come to the teller. Normally the tellers are wise, but not all.
H U N T E R [ u n l i m i t e d ] archangel pack only Like the name represents, hunters are the Archangel who hunts for their pack. Normally alpha would choose the wolves who are good at hunting to have them promoted into hunters.
M O T H E R [ u n l i m i t e d ] timber/archangel Simple, a mother is a wolf who is rearing pups.
S U B O R D I N A T E [ u n l i m i t e d ] timber/archangel The normal rank for every pack - their jobs are hunting [timbers only], fighting or tracking.
P U P [ u n l i m i t e d ] timber/archangel The babies of the pack
O M E G A [ m a x 3 ] timber/archangel The lowest ranked wolf, and an insult. The omega often is pushed around by the higher ranked wolves. The wolves ranked higher than omegas often have their fury targeted to the lowest ranked wolves.

P A C K R U L E S This is one section that I'm not responsible of. Look in the packland board to see their own rules.
Alphas of the pack, please do remember to update your rules often. And include the IC punishment for breaking the pack rules.
